Dodge Power Wagon

Postby ASUKSA on Fri Aug 10, 2007 6:37 am

Hello All,

Glad to see a place in the gulf where we can talk about vintage cars and trucks. This is a before and after pic of my Power Wagon, changed it from an open cab to a closed cab.

Sweet! How much did the whole restoration process cost? I can see a lot of differences. And is the car in the UAE?

Hello T.N.T

It cost too much but it was fun running around the country trying to get all the parts. I have more to work on and will try to post pictures here as it goes.

Regards

It great 2 see more people getting interested in restoring older cars here in the Gulf... Wonderful work!!! I hope this motivates more people in the gulf 2 restoring classics rather than leaving them rust in some scrapyard...

WSF! You're into restoring as well, are'nt you?

Post some pics man! Lets see the local talent.

If someone can restore a car like this, instead of letting it rot away, I'd be interested. This picture is actually from Dubai or Sharjah of a Ferrari F40 replica (not original).

Well i never restored a car before but several people in my family used to do that a decade ago; its like a hobby & i loved it since i was a kid... If i find some old photos ill try scanning them & posting them...

Lately my uncle purchased a MK.3 camaro to restore but he sold the car & cancled the project... Hopefully when the time is right ill be most likely purchasing a classic & restoring... Ill let u know... :D

I never thought in a million years that these trucks are covered in sand in the Middle east! This trucks is way more than a barn find coz It takes a lot of patience and time finding them and restoring it back to its original form.
