Camaro (V8 engine) wanted

Hi all,

I am just one of those fans of Camaros, and was driving them for the past 12 years. Now, I wanna buy one in UAE, as I have moved here. It seems that I have viewed everything that's on offer but the outcome is negative. Does anybody have any idea or maybe even know someone who has a decent V8 Camaro (preferably Convertible) on sale?

Hi, I am looking for 98-02 model preferably. V8 a must. Convertible is really preferable. 94-98 is also an option, but a second one. Do you have any leads?

This ain't gonna be that easy to find! Camaros in general are not common in UAE, and the V8's are even less.

Your best bet is to import one from USA. One thing to remember is that soon the older than 5-year import ban rule will be enforced.

And also keep in mind that you won't be able to sell a car that is more than 10 years old and use it on the roads if it is more than 15 years old. These rules will be implemented on December 1, 2008.

Convertible Camaros are rare here.. Camaros are very cheap & affordable because they are considered troublesome cars in this region but you wont care much since assuming had past experiences with them.. Otherwise a nice project car choice, i was close to get one at my 1st year in uni... Becareful from abused ones as there are many...

I have two man
one z28 v8 1997 black colore with ss body kit & exhust cutback , normal type.

the second one 1998 z28 v8 gold color convirtable, but stock.

The both are automatic.

The second one is notavilable now.

^ u could always manage having 2 camaros and use one as a donor car... do you perform any repairs yourself on the car?
