When you talk about accessorizing Godzilla, other people might think of a guy in a lizard suit wearing lots of jewelry and fancy shoes. You and we think of loading up the Nissan GT-R with options in an online configurator (or, for a lucky few of us, at the actual dealership).
We were surprised, though, at how little can actually be purchased on top of the GT-R’s base MSRP. The most expensive addition we were able to tack on was a special paint job. You might be surprised what came in as the second-highest add-on.
We left a couple boxes unchecked, as they were redundant, or included in another option. Really, we don’t need two sets of floor mats.
Base
$89,950 (Nissan GT-R Premium) + $1000 (destination and handling) + $0 (options) = $90,950
Loaded
$89,950 (Nissan GT-R Premium) + $1000 (destination and handling) + $7650 (options) = $97,600
