Honda CBR rules

Postby Ali on Sun Nov 06, 2005 11:50 am

Yes, your friends are definitely right. The Honda CBR 600 is a great bike. Its got the power, looks and most important is very reliable and easy to fix.
It also holds value pretty good.

In Dubai it is hard to find a good CBR 600. Those who have 'em wont sell and those that come get bought up straight away. This is also a very popular bike for re-export and in high demand in the CIS states...so many dealers simply pick them up.

If you are getting one, try to see if you can find the CBR 600 RR. That is the racing version. 117 hp, 6 gears!

Yamaha and Suzuki

Postby Ferrari on Sun Nov 06, 2005 11:58 am

Agree that CBR 600 is great, but there are more fish in the pond!

I would contend that Yamahas and Suzukis are equally great bikes!
Team Yamaha has been winning most of the major biking competitions lately. They have some great bikes, also very reliable. Look at the FZ6 or YZF600R.

Same goes for Suzuki. Actually, Suzuki is probably better value for money. They are cheaper than Yamaha and have great engines and handling. Their looks are getting better as well.
