Hey Guys! Where can one get good and cheap helmets in Dubai?

Depends on what you want!

If you want something cheap like Index (Thai brand) or other chinese brands then go to Deira. Close to Nasr square there is an area where there are about a dozen motorbike stores that sell helmets (primarily) and other motorcycle accessories. Over here you can get new helmets as cheap at 30-40 Dhm, and then go up to a few hundred. Some stores also carry some branded italian helmets for moto-cross/enduro racing. Thse cost a bit more though.

Other than that, I have seen helmets at the major showrooms. Yamaha on Sheikh Zayed Road have a nice clothing section upstairs where you can buy original Yamaha helmets.

You can also go to Aweer to Motorcycle City. They have helmets and dress for bikes. Next to it, there is the Ducati store where you can get even more fancier stuff.

Finally, in Satwa there is a store with a lot of motorcycle equipment. Its on the main Diyafah road inside a small shopping mall. Cannot remember the name but it was in the middle of Diyafah road, near Burger King.

I bought an good stylish Index helmet in Diera for 120 dhms. You can get cheaper ones for 60-70 dhms as well but the design looks like the pizza hut delivery guy.
