An3esh..where do you live?

Blue plates are for 'export', which means the car is not locally registered. It is not certain that the vehicle can be locally registered either. If you live in in UAE and are to buy it, then you should the seller to get it passed and registered for you as part of the deal.

In Aweer, if you buy a car, make sure you ask them to get it passed and registered as part of the purchase deal. This is not an uncommon request. They should pay for this (and obviously will build it into the price you eventually pay).

In addition to getting it passed, you need to be extra careful when buying imported vehicles in Aweer. Too many jokers there, and besides never trust a cars salesman :)

My suggestion would be that if you have decided to buy a car, ask them that you want to take it for an independent check-up either at the dealers (better, and costs around AED 400) or the comprehensive check-up at Tasjeel (I think costs 300-400 AED). Ask them to transport the vehicle there, and you can go there as well. Its worth paying the 300-400 extra here.

Also if its a US imported vehicle, then get the VIN number and order a Carfax report on the car online. That will show you the 'real' history of the car in the US. This costs about 10-15$ and worth every cent. Many times the dealers are selling accidented or flooded cars, or have meters wound back - the carfax report will find that out.

i would be very very very careful buying a car for awir used car market.
DO NOT TRUST any salesman there.

dont even trust the mechanics at the tasjeel inspection center inside awir who are probably on the used car dealers payroll.

take your own mechanic or someone qualified enough and knows their way around a vehicle to spot a lemon.

Buying a car online is a risky proposition. If you have to buy a car online, then make sure to protect yourself during the transaction. Never, ever purchase a car sight unseen. You should always check out a used car in person before you hand over cash for it. I read it here: Basics of online car buying.

Hi,
I would agree with this phrase: "DO NOT TRUST any sellers" as most of the time they are not reliable at all. So i would advise to check good car agencies in Dubai then am pretty sure you will get the best in here cars uae

Very true.If you are looking to buy used car, you should be very careful. Check the car twice before buying it otherwise it will be nightmare for you.

Salesman wants to increase their sales, so they hide some mechanical problems of cars from the buyers. It is advisable to take some one who has knowledge of cars.If possible take short drive of car, you will get the idea of it.
