Buying A wise SUVDear All,

Re: Buying A wise SUVFor 125k, you can get a Toyota Prado (its close to your dream ride).
Area you looking for a 5 seater or 7 seater? There are a bunch of service and warranty deals on the Korean makes like Kia and Hyundai that are good value for money and within your budget. Mitsubishi Pajero has a great value offer these days on their top-end SUV which will fall within your budget as well. Given that you do 160 km a day, you will be doing around 40-50k per year, so good to get a car that gives 100-150k km warranty so you have 2-3 years of peace at least. Re: Buying A wise SUVThanks for the mail and special note about the warranty term.
As i am driving more than 150km a day and rarely take to offroaf,i prefer to go with an economical one preferebly RAV4,CRV,VITARA.I found pajero is value for money but only worries me V6,3.5 ltr engine which falls not in economical side and the driving comfort.Prado also comes to me as same concept. I will be using one vehicle for a maximum time of 3-4 years. How about new TUCSON AND SPORTAGE?\ What is the benefet of Rav4's cargo door opening side wise?
Re: Buying A wise SUVThe CRV and Rav4 are good choices! If you are fine with the size, power, then go for one of them. They are quality vehicles which will last you a while. Dont worry about side opening doors.
The Tucson and Sportage are also good value for money. If you get an extended warranty, then its worth looking at. I would suggest you take them for a drive as well. If you drive 150km daily you will want something that accelerates fine and lets you overtake when you want to. Hence, take them for a drive on a highway. Vitara I would not recommend as its not a popular vehicle here, and you'll have resale issues. On resale the Rav4, CRV will do well, followed by Tucson and Sportage. Re: Buying A wise SUVgo for sportage... the 2011... that will be covering warranty... plus it is great value for money!
Re: Buying A wise SUVYou can always consider the Hyundai SUVs too if you want an inexpensive ride
Re: Buying A wise SUVI have a pajero v6, gives me 500 kms in 100 dhs, i drive also around 230 kms a day.
Re: Buying A wise SUVIt is intresting,is it 3.5ltr or 3.0?
Pajero gives more offer than any one, and I realy want to take some thing other than toyota ,Bored with their style excluding new Prado.Toyota charging atleast 15% more ,than others only for their name.I like new tuscon but the cargo is comparatively small.
Re: Buying A wise SUVcheck out the new sportage... and see the detailed review that we did ... u might be getting on something... pajero's engine sound is a turn off
Re: Buying A wise SUVThe Hyundai Santa Fe may also be a good option. It has an excellent ride, great comfort, good fuel economy -- real value for money. I just bought one!
Re: Buying A wise SUVHi,Finally I bought Pajero2011 model 3.5L,thanks for the time.
Re: Buying A wise SUVHow do you like it?
Did you get a good deal? There have been some good deals lately on Pajeros. Come and discuss at the most lively forums about Cars, Bikes, 4x4s...at http://www.autodealer.ae at the Autodealer UAE Forums.
Re: Buying A wise SUVaaaa ur ma man!!! im also a mitsubishi fan... upload some pics... and tell us about it!!!! please!!!
Re: Buying A wise SUVHi All,I was away from forum and back with my latest news.I bought a pajero3.5ltr full option and sold in 6 months, which felt as lower driving comfort and road handling.
I am going to buy Prado 2010 TXL 4 cylinder 2.7 litre. I have no concern to go to off-road drives like desert ride etc. I will use this Prado in Town and go for long drive (highways twice in a month). I have heard some people that there is some sound in engine in 4 cylinder. Local dealer always insisting me to go for 4.0 ltr. This will be my personal SUV and I will not sale this car atleast for 5 years. So what do you recommend for 4 cylinder for long term bases. Will I regret i future after buying 4 cylinder instead of 6 cylinder? I have small family too. thanks in advance
Re: Buying A wise SUVHi, go for the Prado 4.0 ltr 6 cylinder TXL Model.
heard that the 2.7 ltr is slow & underpowered for its size. yesterday I was at the Al Futtaim Showroom & had a look at the prado.. awsome vehicle..
