TNNNNNNNNNNTT check out the new STILLEN Generation 3 Ultra Long Tube Dual Intake....this one is only for the 370Z and the G37s this one is a mind blow.....you should see how long this tube is.....goes from the engine until the back of the grill so yeah i think they are talking truthfuly about it, gives me to be exact 18.5 HP and stillen is not a fake cheap ass company to tell a lie.... http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?id=STIDHIFLW03and they did some tests on it and they are posted on the website if you want to see the figures yourself....

I know Stillen and I know their products, not saying they suck but real world peformance is always different. Dyno your car before installing the intake and dyno your car after installing it. Get back to me with the sheets and you'll know how much HP you gained.

guys checked with the dealer, the 2009 models comes with aluminum interior and it got VLSD (viscous limited slip differential) and auxillary input to plug in any mp3 player and of course the 7speed auto price is still a lil too high

haaaah....
my G37s 2008!!!....have all that and more...
only the 7 speeds i dont have, and having 7 speeds is not good for racing, it's just for saving fuel
SL 65 BLACK have 5 speeds.....real sports cars will function good on 5 speeds cuz each gear will give you lots of power
like for EX.
5 gears>>>>>the 2nd gear maybe between 70 - 120
7 gears>>>>>the 2nd gear maybe between 50 - 100
all am saying is having more gears will make you shift alot to find the right spot for speeding
but nevertheless, 7 gears is really really really good on saving fuel cuz your not exhausting the engine....more RPM = more burning fuel

saparda, they put the 7 speed in the G for a reason. I'm pretty sure its not slower than your 5 speed, maybe even faster.

guys how can it be more faster???
it's not producing more HP or anything like that???
same engine same car but the shifting is different that's all...it's only more efficient for saving fuel
plus i've read that there is some problems in the G37s 7 speed when they downshifting
like when they drive and see the traffic up ahead you let the car slow down and the RPM goes down until the last gear>>>>let's say from 2 to 1
suddenly the cars accelerate a little bit more because it shifted from the 2nd to the 1st because the shifting is not smooth!!!
but i heard in the US that they fixed it, they made the car run on 2nd gear and if you want to HARD acceleration...the car use the 1st gear>>>>not sure about that.

Apparently its not just good for fuel economy but the ratios are closer so its faster.

the gear ratios are shorter in the 7speed compared to the 5 speed hence the marginally better acceleration. as for the other problems i dont have a clue. thankyou arabian automobiles for not giving test drives!! lol, il stick to my boring daily driver for now.

man i think buraimi gave u nice price...arent you going for it then...i checked on gdriver people were not bothered 5sp vs 7sp but mayve what ur saying is right as well....i had a GTI MK5 6sp..wasnt that much different to 5sp...anyways your call GOOD NEWS: one more thing i saw one G35s sedan same as mine with LSD:) but moreee goodie is its manual up for sale on souq.com for 75k....its a steal and interior is also nice check it out. i got my brakes changed recently and guys at nissan told me there is very slight difference in size of brakes in S specs and normal GCC specs i guess only main thing is front bumper and LSD @ saparda i have intakes on my car there is no way 18hp...specially in this heat but on high rev there is slight difference..it might make some difference if i have X pipe and exhaust..but real problem is heat sinking..best alternative is stock air tubes with drop in K&N my.02$
