Hi guys,
I'm looking for a nice beemer 3 series coupe (CI) version thats under 3 litre (prices of fuel getting higher ). Was wondering if anyone wants to get rid of his/hers in July this year. Thats when I come back to Dubai from a project in Jordan.
Is the 318CI underpowered? You don't see that many of them around.
In addition, anyone who wants to sell off their nice 2nd hand car can recommend me their cars. I am still open to suggestions, but this beemer is HOT!

If you have the money, go for the 330Ci convertible.
318 is a bit of a dog...but maybe you'll get lesser speeding tickets (and they are going higher as well).
Same class..look at Audi A4 convertible...a beauty!
If you want something a bit larger in body, Merc CLKs are nice as well.

Thanks for the recommendations admin,
Yeah...been a fan of the A4 too. Well I don't plan to be a boy racer.....330 could be a bit of a gas guzzler! I would probably paint 2 lines in the middle like a Dodge Viper.....and then put a big ass spoiler at the back of my 318ci and make it look like it could go reeeeaaallll fast...
How much are the 318ci going for nowadays. I see some posted between AED40k - AED 60k. Are these dealer price or direct from owner price?

The prices are a mix I guess..call and check!
But BMWs are hot items...almost everyone who comes to Dubai has a dream to own a BMW and it means that the 2nd hand market is pretty good..specially for the smaller ones.
My first car was a BMW 316 ...yes, 1.6 liter. It was great and had superb handling..still among the best of all cars I've had since then.
I ofcourse took off the 316 label from the back and pretended it was a 325

Ok. Thanks for the info. By the way, great site you have running here. But it seems like its a free-for-all website. So do you make money out of this site?
What car are you driving now root? I think you should start organizing a car club! Maybe everyone can meet up over the weekend and hang out together???

dodgeek...you touch a sore topic! I dont make any money on this...not yet atleast.
So, my satisfaction is in making people happy here, and if someone is kind enough to lend me their enzo for the weekend (which has not happened yet).
I've got an Audi convertible these days! Will post a picture some day.
Car club looks like a good idea. It might even give us some bargaining power to get good rates for shows or racing lessons. Let me think about how this can be done.

sorry dude!
Maybe we can come up with a wonderful idea for u to make loads of cash on the technology that you have . Are you a pure php dude or do you touch JSP and .NET? I used to be an ASP guy, then now moving on to Java due to work related stuff....doing data warehousing stuff...boring.
Please do post your Audi pics! I saw a couple of them. Looks awesome. How much for one of those???
We can start charging for car club memberships too

We are working hard on the new version of the website first. There are many things to be desired here that many have asked for.
But soon, we should try to do this club thing. We will expect a lot of volunteers here if we start a club.

The audis at the garage again..broken window control and a cracked windscreen.
One lesson I never seem to learn is to buy cars that are easy to find spare parts for.
I will post a pic when I get it back.
Until then, it looks like this, but in green

Is that a 1999? Audi 80?

No, its a 1993 cabriolet...the original 5-cylinder one which was discontinued from 1994.
It is close to the Audi 90, if you ever saw that.
The car is not that fast, but solid and cruises very nice. With top down in winters its quite nice for your late night casual rides when you're not really in a hurry.

Yeah, the concept is easy in and easy out. In reality it does not always work that way
I am thinking of pimping it up a bit given that I am going to live with this car for a while. Anyone know any good places to get that done? I mean like first hand experience.
