Should I trade my 2006 honda CRV with 13k km mileage with a 2006 Audi A6 with 94k km mileage + add 25k difference? Is the A6 a good, reliable car?

Kust0m K1ng!

That's a very subjective question, with very little background on why you want to do that.

Both cars are different, for different needs, etc.

My take on the A6 is that its a lovely car with a lot of power. However, its a bit of an executive car, which might not suit your average young lad. Kinda like the Mercedes.

Reliability wise, yes, it's good German quality. However 94 km is quite some mileage. I don't see any major issues though as these cars easily do 200k km.

Resale wise, the Audi A6 will drop like a stone, while your CRV will uphold its value pretty well.

Service wise, the Audi is gonna cost you more, specially at the dealership.

Now, as I don't know the reason for the swap, its hard to say much. However, I would personally prefer getting a car with slightly lower mileage. Also as most warranties are for 3 years or 100k km.

No real reason, really. Just wanted to change :) I'll try looking for a car with lower mileage. Do you know how much the warranty period can be extended? I think it can be extended to 5 yrs/unlimited kms for a few ks, I'm not sure though. You do think its a fair trade though right?

I've not heard of warranty extensions but rather service packages. I guess they are the same thing but some service packages don't include replacement parts. You'll need to check with the dealer.

Fair trade? Will need to see what each car is worth individually to assess that. I guess you've done that calculation. The new A6 is a lot more expensive, that is for sure.
