Top Line Motors Dealer

Postby MazingerZ on Sat Jun 14, 2008 8:48 pm

Has anybody had any dealings with this company?

http://www.autotraderuae.com/auto/index.php?dealer=2274

I might be interested in the TrailBlazer SS or the Subaru Impreza WRX STi that they have for sale.

I would be taking the car from UAE to Oman, does anyone know the procedure involved? has anyone done it?

cheers

Wouldn't know much about this dealer.

To take the car to Oman, you need to get an export registration made from the Dubai Police with the blue plate and then you can probably just drive it to the border. You'll need to arrange appropriate insurance for UAE and Oman.
Another alternative is to get the export papers made and just put it on a truck to Oman. I don't think it costs that much.

On the border, you'll need to get the Omani import papers made.

Once in Oman, you provide your Dubai papers as well as the import papers and get the car registered.

Never done this personally, so anyone with first hand experience should add their tips.
