2008 2.5 Altima vs. 2007 3.5 Altima

As subject, your thoughts and feelings on the top spec 2008 2.5 Altima vs. 2007 3.5 SE Altima.....

08 2.5:

+ Bose Stereo
+ Push button start and intelli-key
+ most recent model/facelift
+ probably a 'better' 2.5 than previous

- it's a 2.5........

07 3.5:

+ it's a V6
+ it's a V6
+ oh, it's a V6

- less features
- more dated interior than 08?

Running costs aren't an issue and insurance is also covered so it's just down to the actual cars themselves...apparently the 2.5 is more agile and a nicer drive simply because of it's lighter weight? it's a common car so i thought someone on here would have experience of both?

Thanks as always!!

2008 would be my choice. New shape, cooler interior, better resale.

Thanks mate!! It's always good to get someone elses point of view - it's a company car so re-sale isn't an issue BUT i am swayed by the cooler interior......

the 07 interior sucks, the 08 is a world of a difference. the push button start is pretty cool too. the 07 3.6 v6 is a hell of a lot faster, so it boils down to driving fun vs new styling and tech.

Agreed, my 2 fils, I'd go fro the '07 v6,

Also I actually don't like the rear of the '08, exterior for me, the older is better, interior hands down '08

Well, i got a call from the Dealer this morning and the 07 v6 is ready to pick up, i'll get a few snaps once i have it - just depends how long it takes my company to sort out registration and all that good stuff.

I'd still have liked the toys on the 08 (push button start/intelli-key and the generally nicer interior) but the V6 should make longer journeys a bit more interesting....and it's a change from the Tiida i've been driving up until now!!

Thanks for everyone's input with this!!
