For rental, I know you can get many with the drivers included. They are many standing and waiting for customers in most construction areas. In Al-Quoz on the old 3rd interchange there is a large gathering.

Ok..I have to admit that I have never purchased a truck either!

But, first of all, to drive a heavy truck you need a license for that type of vehicle. I guess you are looking for this for your company (unless you fancy driving around in large trucks) and would employ some drivers with valid heavy vehicle licenses.

If you're looking for new trucks, then you basically go to the dealers. Nissan, Mitsubishi and others. For some reason the Indian makes like Ashok Leyland and Tata are popular here as well..I guess due to price wise being cheaper. You also have the Chinese brands now.

For second hand, go to Al-Aweer. They have some dealers selling this. Otherwise you need to go to Sharjah near the Cricket Stadium or BMW Showroom road. Also in Al-Khan there are a bunch of showrooms.

To register it, you're gonna buy it on your company, so you'll need the trade license copy, etc. Thats about it.

And I want to purchase one at the moment as need it for the construction.

I Dont know what type or brand. I will use it only for one period of time and then want to sell it.so im looking for something useful and I will be able to get read of in the end

Oh, and another thing im concerned about is trade license and NOC certificate. If I have a general trade license for the company will it do when purchasing a heavy truck or i have to apply for another type of trade license??will it take long to make it?expensive?

and same thing with NOC where I can get it, and how long the whole proccess of issuing will take, also how expensive it is?

Before going to buy truck you need to check the services of the company. You should hire good quality trucks that are really heavy duty and cheap in cost.

I am looking for a truck rental company who provide affordable truck on rate for distance kilometer. I want to know before hiring what things I should be clarified with the truck company because I don’t want to start any argument about the distance or broken things, etc. should I take the insurance if they insist for it.

The reservation process was easy but if you have to cancel or change the reservation, it is not all that easy. After searching the Budget site for a while, I found out that you have to call the store where I was to pick up the truck. I picked up the truck, drove it to the storage unit and loaded the truck with the help of relatives. The truck would not start. I had it for less than three hours. After haggling with customer service, they agreed to have another truck brought to me. After about two hours, a newer truck arrived. My family and I had to unload the first truck and load the new one when it arrived. Budget would not send someone to help.
