Postby azi malik on Thu Nov 04, 2010 12:36 am

if we mix petrol with a tiny lil amount of water... and drive the car ... would it go longer?...

I am asking about the case when the petrol in ur tanks is empty... ;)

yikes! what are you smoking these days dude?

From my chemistry classes, water and petrol will never mix into a homogenous solution.

For the engine water is not combustible, or compressible, so it is probably more of a menace in the engine than anything else.

well, come to think of it, the only way to use water is to have a hydrogen powered engine, which means somehow you need to split the H and O out of H2O.

Found a site: http://www.waterforpetrol.co.nz from some guy in New Zealand that has built such a kit! Either he's a genius or has been spending too much time with the sheep down there!
