Traffic in Ghusais/Qusais

Postby Brembo on Sat Dec 15, 2007 9:01 am

how is the traffic situation in ghusais towards MOE on SZR and towards arabian ranches on emirates road during peak hours? is it really bad during the peak hours thanks to sharjah traffic or is manageable traffic?

I dont go that way during rush hours, but the traffic northwards between 5-7 pm is pretty bad, and I would think that Emirates Road gets effected as well.

Also the link road between SZR and Arabian Ranches next to MOE is quite bad during this time, as everyone working in Umm Suqeim, TECOM free zones and Dubai Marina take that route to get onto Emirates or Al-Khail Road.

Probably better to get onto Emirates Road from Jebel Ali instead.
You will otherwise get the Salik or the Salik-avoiding traffic if you go all the way upto MOE before taking right.

sharjah people start moving to dubai starting from 6.30 a.m, where the most traffic volume you will find between 8 to 10 a.m... on the other hand, and on return back to sharjah...you will find less traffic jams, but surely you wont like to drive thru AL Khail road towards arabian ranches round about, cause its fully loaded and some civil works are taking place after that in Emirates highway...

normally i used to approach Dubai -AL Ain road, and after The Villa Project intersection, made a U turn towards "AL Dhaid-sharjah" which is called Dubai Al Aber road, it is very smooth in peak hours..and lasts on sharjah airport road, and ajman carefour as well...
