Which Regent Palace hotel?

There are a bunch of them from what I understand.

Wanna avoid Salik then you need to get onto Emirates Road or Al-Khail Road at around Jebel Ali or Barsha, and don't cross Garhoud Bridge.

In Bur Dubai I think there a few as well...one is opposite Bur Juman with that Rockbottom bar, the other one next to Khaleej Center with a very dodgy bar and another near Makhtoum bridge.

You can always go to KV and take Safouh road upto Madinat Jumeirah and then onwards on Beach or Al-Wasl Road. But the speed limit is 70 or 80 on those roads.

Better would be take the last free exit towards KV, DIC, Safouh next to Emirates Golf club and then go back on SZR after the Barsha/Mall Of Emirates exchange. Expect to be greeted by a lot of traffic as a lot of people do the same.
