Did you know that your butt can be used to verify your identity? Yes, biometric security has evolved and now applies to other anatomical parts aside from your fingers and eyes. The Advanced Institute of Industrial Technology in Tokyo has created a car seat that measures the exact contours and pressures that are left by your posterior. To measure pressure, there are 360 separate sensors on the seat. These sensors are linked to a laptop to come up with a precise map of the person sitting. Researchers claim that the seat could accurately identify people with an accuracy of 98%. The team is optimistic that the system will soon be installed on Japanese cars as an added security measure within two or three years
