Nissan Middle East and DuPont Performance Coatings have extended their three years agreement by an additional three years for the supply of DuPont’s leading refinish brands.

DuPont will supply its Standox, Spies Hecker and DuPont refinish to the Nissan Service Centres’ body repair facilities across the Middle East.

Under the agreement, DuPont Performance Coatings will also provide comprehensive training programmes to Nissan Middle East at their headquarters in Dubai, and leverage the learning from the training across the Nissan Service Centre network in the Middle East.
The partnership will bring to the Middle East automotive market a range of innovative products, services, and solutions aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the vehicle refinish processes in the Middle East.

“We are pleased to extend our relationship with Nissan and look forward to future success as we expand DuPont’s market reach and penetration. This is a pivotal time in the automotive industry. We can only meet local challenges by working together on science-powered innovation to reduce the environmental footprint whilst meeting consumer demands,” said Thierry Vanlancker – vice president for Europe, Middle East and Africa, DuPont Performance Coatings.

Hideki Tsukiori, general manager, Aftersales Department, Nissan Middle East, said: “We are confident that our strong partnership with DuPont will not only support the Nissan brand but also help our Service Centres across the region.”

“DuPont Performance Coatings (DPC) will be integrated into our body shop training program, which will be conducted in Dubai and extended throughout the regional network of Nissan Service Centres. With DuPont’s vast knowledge and experience, we will ensure that our customers receive top of the range products and services,” he added.

Clive Gray, business manager, DPC Refinish Systems, Middle East, Pakistan and Cyprus, said: “As a result of the agreement, DPC and Nissan will continue to create exceptional value for our customers through innovative solutions to the Refinish market in the Middle East.”

“Our goals are tied directly to business growth, specifically to the development of safer and environmentally improved new products for the key developing markets in the Middle East,” Gray concluded.
