The five-door version of the 2012 Range Rover Evoque was revealed today ahead of its official debut which will take place next week, at the 2010 LA Auto Show. As expected, the car shares the same design as the coupe model, but according to Land Rover it is with 30 mm taller than the coupe, and the rear passengers get over 50mm more shoulder room. Furthermore, a full-sized glass panoramic roof enhances the sensation of space. The engines are the same found on the coupe, which means we will find a 2.2-litre turbodiesel engine .with 190PS or 150PS derivatives. Te front-wheel-drive version powered by the 2.2-liter engine delivering 150 PS achieves sub 135g/km CO2.
The most powerful version will be the model fitted with the 2.0-litre Si4 petrol engine, delivering 240 PS. This model can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 7.1 seconds. The 2012 Range Rover Evoque five-door will be offered in three trim-levels: Pure, Prestige and Dynamic. The Pure trim level offers a clean interior in neutral colors in order to highlight the simple forms of the cabin architecture. This level offers a real-metal brushed aluminum trim as well as new soft-touch wrapped materials.
The Prestige level offers 19-inch wheels and sparkling metallic details, as well as an interior almost entirely leather-wrapped. Furthermore, we find duo-tone colour schemes embellished by premium leather, twin-needle stitching and real wood and metal finishes. The Dynamic trim level comes with 20-inch wheels and unique bumpers, sills, grille and tailpipes. In addition, Land Rover offers contrasting roof and spoiler color at no extra cost. Inside, we find a darker environment with splashes of bright contrast colour. Regaarding the price, Land Rover says that the 2012 Range Rover Evoque 5-Door will start from £30,000 / €35,000 / $48,000.
