the dealers just refuse to reduce the prices eh? how much profit did they make before the recession? how much longer can they hold on without reducing prices?

yeah, no one seems to want to reduce prices...but you are able to negotiate more.
Earlier, they would not even talk to you!

guys foiling from a reputable place gives at least 5 years guarentee on the foil itself and that the paint remains intact, so no worries about the paint underneath.

as for wrapping the whole car, the price highly depends on the original color and th color to be after foiling. thats the first question "foila car" guys asked me. yellow to black matt will cost 15,000AED hehehe..nice try!!

as for simple stripes from Llumar, it costs around 2,000AED...I'm not sure about the whole car for 5,000AED that has been mentioned above. sounds fishy to me.

malhilo did u do it already? how's it looking?

now we have a large variance in prices reported!

I think foilacar are jacking up the price as they get more popular!

I'm still waiting for the Satwa tinting guys to start doing this ;)

not exactly root, the quotation from foila-car i got was 6 months back. but notice it's cos i asked from yellow-to-black which he insisted it would be less if the car was already black.

i remember asking the Llumar guys on behalf of my friend..from navy blue-to black matt, and they quoted verbally around 12,000aed.

still very far from the suggested 5,000aed..so..whatsup!?

yeah, there must be cheaper ways/places to get this done.

There must be guys in Sharjah/Ajman that'll do it for under 5k.

Just few things to clear from car wrapping as I am now in selling wrapping films and Carbon Fiber films. My distributor here takes German wrapping rolls ranging from 600Dh to 4000Dh. for 600h one they charge 5000Dh for the whole job the roll has a warranty of 3-4 years and the premium roll which is for 4000 they charge the whole car somewhere around 11000-13000 and warranty if of 9 years. And you dont use the whole roll :D . it does take 2 days to finish it off. So the material cost is less there is good margin in it. And I think Llumar and foil a car are just ripping people off.

The expensive roll is the best wrapping quality available here in UAE, they have new matt colours which are matt but do shine a little bit and something new. And trust me guys its better then Foil A Car.

I met a local in Alain he did Carbon Fiber Max(its 3D very close to original) on his Range Rover the sides were not even covered all of it. And I was shocked to see that Foil A Car charged him 40,000Dh   for that....ITS A RIPPPPPP OFFF.

So price is nothing in this things its getting common and common.

im in alain...just to clear something I dont have a shop its just I supply to different people lots of different kinds of car vinyls.

You can have a roll for 700-1500 which will last 4 years and ideally 2 rolls can cover three cars easily...in addition to that will be labour

three kinds are there:

2D flexible piece for hood is 250Dh
3D metalized non flexible film piece for hood is 650dh (this is with Llumar and Foil A car)
3D textured flexible (you can feel the texture with you fingers) piece will be for 1200

The one in the last is the latest one I am selling that really good in US and apart from us there is no one with that kind of thing.
