Talking about Opel, I've seen pictures of the roadster which is pretty slick! However, I'm yet to see it on the streets here.

Who imports Opel in UAE BTW? Is it the GM dealership?

Liberty Motors (GM) in sharjah is da only place that sells astras as they told me when i 1st went 2 check 4 da car... i dnt think it has a good resale value since its an opel n u dnt c many around... yet liberty gives u good loads of servicing packages including buying da car back from u...

Btw i think if u talk 2 them then they might manage importing a convertible model 4 u... ive seen some rare models not meant 2 b sold in da UAE on da show room floor on several visits there...

Liberty has some great deals for the Hummer H3...very tempting with 4 year warranty...3 years free service, etc etc at under 2000 per month with financing.

How good is their service? And does it mean you need to take the car to Sharjah everytime or do they have any service centers in Dubai? (For me going to Sharjah these days is a big turn-off, given the time it takes with the current traffic situation)

Im sure they have a service centre in dubai, u might wanna check out with em... i just mentioned dat da showroom @ dubai doesnt supply opel astras as far as they told me...
