WOW!!! such a beauty.... The 70s TRANS AM....1 of my dream cars.... if I could 6years ago i wouldve brought it from u... dats a car that adds meaning 2 life!!!! i prefer it on all those luxuries posted above!!!!! im sure u miss her...
thx WSF!
yeah i really miss that car... its a 78' macho trans am... they were a few built... infact modified... they were considered to be the best n most costly of all trans ams... i sold it for US$18,000... to this senior guy from new jersey... im glad that he will take good care of it as he has a collection of classics... he sent me this pic a couple of months later when i moved and requested for it... i bought another trans 92' later in dubai n recently sold it after some 4 yrs... im on a hunt for a 1979/80 trans but its very difficult to find one here in UAE... there is one in al awir... i believe its an 80' but the interior needs alot of work and God knows what else is broke in it... this is the pic of the one i recently sold for very less price...
very true...
81' arrived the 3rd generation TAs... they used 81-85 models for the car character Kitt in Knight Rider... but since 80' all them muscle cars r bogus... they breakdown every now n then... too much of electrical n computer n engine hassle... nothings same anymore... i read about the late 80's camaro project of ur uncle's... good luck with that... im planning to build a 51' mercury (one used by stallone in Cobra)... negotiating for the scrap from a mechanic who is not sure to sell for the price im offering (as if hes got a choice now with municipality up his)... so far nothing is up since i don't have any idea of what to install and how much to spend... will cost alot to build that car... its like buying an empty shell with alot of work... only chasis n broken doors... no glasses, windows, seats etc... what do u think?
I dunno if dubai is da rite place 2 do such a really heavy restoration!!!mayb if u can ship it 2 da US n work on it over there then u can get better n cheaper parts n more experienced ppl 2 work on it.. btw which engine would u install on that ride?? n whats ur budget?
my uncle got plans 2 ship it 2 Syria n work on it over there.. its cheaper n ppl r much much more experienced in classic cars there...
