The first unit to be offered will be the 2.0 liter diesel, producing 148 HP (150 PS / 110 kW), and this will be soon followed by a larger 2.2 liter turbodiesel R, generating 195 HP (198 PS / 145 kW), along with a 2.4 liter GDI petrol unit, with direct injection, developing a total output of 194 HP (197 PS / 144 kW). In international markets, the 2013 Kia Sorento will be sold with the same petrol engines as before, the 172 HP 2.4L MPI and the 276 HP 3.5L V6.
