Discuss the best SUV or 4-Wheel Drive to get or not to get....

heard that the lexus version of the prado is out called the gx 460. i know the GX has been selling in the USA for many years. saw this one at the auto show and was told price would be around 275k.
i like its looks better than the 2010 prado. what do you guys think? its started selling officially here for 275k i think while the exact same model goes for around 220k BEFORE discounts in US. so for the toyota prado we are paying what people are paying for the lexus version with the better interiors and the v8 engine in the US. thankyou Al Futtaim for daylight robbery lol

Saw it at the motor show and I liked it. Great sound system, well-built but overpriced as usual (comes as no surprise)

275k???? That is insane for a pimped up Prado!
In that price range, we are talking RR Sports, Porsche Cayenne GTS, BMW X5 - I guess Lexus believes they play in the same 'luxury range'.

The GX comes with a 4.6 V8 and will own those cars off-road. It is still reasonable when you consider that an LC VXR V8 costs the same.

Robbery is the case with all the dealers here so we just have to live with the prices. I was just saying that it is a good alternative to the LC VXR V8.

agree on that...the LCs are insanely priced as well!
I am tempted to get the new 2010 Prado, but then it seems like too much money to put on a Prado. I could get a Touareg or Q7 in the same range. They are not the same I know, but are good alternatives.
