Most cars come with 3 or 5 years warranty...it's getting the 3-5 year service contract which is the challenging feat!

113k for Tiguan is tempting!
How much is it with the auto-parking?

Tiguan is a softroader. Treg is nice but german spares are always expensive than japs. the oil change really depends on the conditions you drive in and the oil that is used... some synthetic oils last for 50k kms!!

I really think, in my personal opinion, there is nothing that scores as much as a pajero in value for money in terms of space, build quality, relaiablity, music system, resale, and most important running cost. but then is is not a BMW or merc or any other luxury vehicle!! and personal likings don't really have a price do they .... ;-)

Tiguan 1st option is AED 113K, 2nd around AED 125K and the 3rd around AED 135K I think. Didn't ask about all the features as they only had the base version - and it was just dwarfed by the Touareg next to it.

And yes, the Pajero seems to be the best value for money. Hopefully will get to do a test drive and decide in the next couple of weeks.

Hey, Treg also comes with some sorta 1 yr corrosion warranty as well. Any similar thing on the Pajero?

no decent car will corrode in 1 year! If they do that company does not deserve to build cars!

Correct root... the standard paint is supposed to last for about 7 years..... you can also get an anti-rust coat done an a teflon to protect the exteriors... I haven't seen a corroded pajero .. yet ;-)

What you guys are saying makes sense. Must be a sales gimmick.

yeah, there are a lot of gimmicks ;)

I think if you look at the guarantee book from VW, there is a 3-5 year corrosion guarantee on them as standard, so he is even telling your worse than it actually probably is.
