First, Welcome to the forums Mejren!
talking about offroad....which vehicles do you think are built for pure offroad? Look at all the 4WDs around and they are really luxury city vehicles (with an attitude) and a lot more of them are used for city driving than offroad. I would say that the one that probably still looks like its pure offroad is the Jeep Wrangler...even the Land Rovers are too cityish now. The best offroad experience climbing rocky mountains was in an old Willy Jeep. Too bad they dont make any anymore.
Most SUVs can go off-road but lots of them are posers. Automakers have started making these 'posers' because more than 95% of new SUV buyers don't take their vehicles off-road. They just buy them for the heightened view and SUV looks. So, it actually makes sense building vehicles that look like SUVs but don't come come with the disadvantages of a conventional 4x4 like poor handling and fuel economy.
Give respect, get respect.
