I test drove the new pathfinder but its very noisy.... and there isnt any space at the back as well

I like the Armada myself...its got lots of power with that V8 5.7 liter engine. Accelerates very well although a very heavy car. Got loads of space for 3 rows. Great price as you get a fully loaded one for 150k.
But many people dont like it..specially the ladies. Many think its too huge, hard to park, etc etc.
Resale wise its not as great as the Land Cruiser or Prados either.
I did'nt like the Pathfinder either. Seems smallish, cheap interior. Engine is powerful for its size/range.
If you wait a few weeks, the new 2008 Land Cruiser is coming. That might be worth considering, although the price is going to start from 185k+ from what I hear. Al-Futtaim is already taking advance bookings...but without telling price or colour or options.
2008 Land Cruiser will like all Toyotas in this market be a hit and sell well. The new one has the new 'crawl' feature which is great when stuck offroading.
All in all, Armada is a nice vehicle. If you get parking sensors or better a rear-camera, then the complain about hard parking etc should be resolved.

Another option is to get the VW Touareg!
It's a beauty and starts for around 142k in Dubai and 155k in Abu Dhabi (options differ though). Nice V6, stylish, German quality, service after every 15,000 kilometers.
They have a Ramadan offer these days...Dubai is giving free service until 45,000 and Abu Dhabi giving 8,000 AED discount.
Down-sides here are that its still a 5-seater..no third row, and resale is not as great as the Toyotas and other japanese makes.

Yeah i checked that with Abu Dhabi as I already have a car with them, but they dont have any stock of the lower range only available was 192k which is a lot for that car.
infact funny thing was i wanted to do trade in with the same dealer for my car and they depriciated my car only 9 months old by 40%????? isint it a rip off you take your car back with 40% in 9 months only. As automall or any other were willing to go for 30-35% depriciation.
anyways thanks again I checked with Buraimi(Oman) and might take from them as their price is almost 8k less then arabian automobile.

Hey guys, I got the Armada and the car is amazing i must say that.
I have driven almost all the competitor SUVs but this is really something handling, acceleration and even the fuel consumption is great. the legroom is good enough for the eight passengers and the best thing is the BOSE sound system

ok...you cant get off that easy!
You need to tell us how much did you pay for it, and if it was new or second hand.
