Junk yards?

People! is there any junk yards in UAE where one can buy cheap spare parts? i am looking for old mercedes, bmw, audi, german car parts. zak

One word: Sharjah


If you are driving from Dubai to Sharjah take a right after the 2nd round about in Sharjah and you will find yourself in an area with a lot of spare parts and possible junk yards. Ask someone there and they will guide you.
(I must admit I have never seen an actual junk yard there, but a lof of the second hand spare parts seem to come from there).

In Dubai, I saw a couple of junk yards in the area between the new upcoming Festival City (old location of DSF) and Rashidiya. There are a bunch of car repair places there and few junk yards as well.
