If I cannot sell my car when I exit

I understand the seller has to be present to complete the sale transaction.
Is there any alternative to this because I am concern I cannot find a buyer before I exit?

I am not sure on the exact way, but I am thinking aloud now, that you may have a few options:

- You can probably give a power of attorney, certified by Dubai courts, for someone to transact on your behalf. People do this on property, so it oughta work on cars.

- You could transfer the car onto the name of a friend who will be selling for you. This seems the safest way if you have someone you trust.

- You could probably do the sale agreement remotely. Normally a certified dealer can write a sales agreement (they normally charge 300-400 for this paper), and if you talk to one beforehand that you will be doing this remotely. You'll still need a passport and drivers license copy available for the transfer work.

But, my advice would be to try to sell it off cheaper, or export the car to wherever you are moving!
Just leaving it behind may get you more money, but with every day passing you chances are that you'll get less.

call midland cars in bur dubai. they can write up a sales agreement for you. you can sign everything then give the document to someone you trust here. once you get a buyer, you can just put his name on the sales agreement and since youve already signed it, the sale is complete.
